Seija did her mindfulness teacher training with University of Bangor Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice. She has taught groups and individuals in East Suffolk since 2013. Seija is a registered member Mindfulness Network and follows its Good Practice Guidelines which includes supervision, retreats and continual learning. Seija's own daily mindfulness meditation is an essential part of her life.
Before taking up mindfulness teaching Seija worked as a counsellor and counselling supervisor and trainer for 30 years. Most of her working life she was a counsellor in primary care in East Suffolk.
She was born and brought up in Finland and goes back there regularly. The tranquillity of Finnish landscape, its forests and lakes, still influences and inspires her meditation and teaching practice.
